Privacy Policy

Information under Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). Last updated: 4 November 2026. This is a translation: if the two versions differ, the Italian version prevails.

1. Data controller

The data controller is Cosimo Bunicelli (occasional self-employed work under the brand "AuraDesign Studio"), tax code BNCCSM89S18C240M, Via Vichieda 1, 19020 Calice al Cornoviglio (SP), Italy.
Contact email: hello@auradesign.art.

2. What data we process and why

a) Using the "Aura" demo chat (widget)

The site includes an AI conversational assistant ("Aura") for demonstration purposes. When you use it, we process:

  • the text of the messages you type in the chat, to generate a demo answer;
  • a technical identifier (first-party cookie, see the Cookie Policy) to limit the number of demo messages;
  • your IP address, if the anti-abuse system is active, only to prevent misuse of the service.

Please do not enter personal, sensitive, health, tax or confidential data in the chat: it is a test tool. Purpose: providing the demo and taking pre-contractual steps at your request. Legal basis: legitimate interest in presenting the service and responding to your initiative (Art. 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(b) GDPR).

b) Contact requests

If you write to us (email, contact form, demo request) we process the data you give us (e.g. name, email, business, message) to reply and handle your request. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures and legitimate interest in answering requests (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR).

c) B2B outreach

To offer our services we may process business contact details of companies and businesses (e.g. company email addresses found in public sources). Legal basis: legitimate interest in direct B2B marketing (Art. 6(1)(f) and Recital 47 GDPR). Every message lets you object and be removed immediately and permanently. If you don't want to hear from us, write to hello@auradesign.art and we will stop all contact.

d) Free online presence check-up

If you request the check-up on /en/check-up we process the data you enter (business name, category, town, links to social profiles and website, your name, WhatsApp number and optional email) to analyse your business's online presence and send you the result on WhatsApp. The analysis starts from public information (Google profile, Instagram profile, website), is prepared with the help of artificial intelligence systems and is checked by a person before it is sent. The result comes from the WhatsApp number of Aura, AuraDesign's digital assistant (+39 379 167 7559). Legal basis: your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The data is kept in our contact management system (Brevo) for 12 months, unless a working relationship follows.

Only if you tick the dedicated box (never pre-ticked) do we also send you tips and offers by email, at most 2 a month. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via the link at the bottom of each email or by writing to hello@auradesign.art.

e) Referring a business

If you refer a business on /en/refer we process your data (name and WhatsApp number) to send you, from Aura's WhatsApp number (+39 379 167 7559), the link to a demo website prepared for that business. About the referred business we only keep the public information you provide (name, town, link to Google Maps, Instagram or website), tied to your referral: we do not add it as a contact and do not contact it on our own initiative. The demo is prepared with the help of artificial intelligence systems, starting from public information, and checked by a person before it is sent; the link stays online for 7 days. Legal basis: your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) for your data and legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) for the business's public data. Your data is kept in Brevo, in the "Segnalazioni" list, for 12 months.

f) Statistics and marketing (only with your consent)

If you accept them in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to measure visits and understand how the site is used (pages viewed, clicks, where visitors come from, technical device data, IP address truncated or pseudonymised by the provider), and the Meta Pixel to measure the results of our Facebook and Instagram campaigns (for example contact requests and purchases started or completed). Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time from the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of the pages. Without consent these tools are not loaded. Details in the Cookie Policy.

We also record internal aggregate statistics on button clicks and demo use (page, event, campaign parameter if any), without cookies or personal identifiers, based on our legitimate interest in improving the site.

3. Processing with artificial intelligence

The answers of the "Aura" chat are generated by artificial intelligence systems and are clearly presented to you as such. The service does not make automated decisions that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects on you within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR: it is an informational and demonstration tool.

4. Recipients and processors

To provide the service we rely on providers acting as processors or independent controllers, including:

  • Anthropic PBC (USA) — processing chat messages to generate AI answers;
  • Vercel Inc. (USA) — hosting of the website and server functions;
  • Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC — Google Analytics 4, only with consent to statistics;
  • Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd / Microsoft Corp. — Microsoft Clarity, only with consent to statistics;
  • Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd — Meta Pixel, only with consent to marketing (joint controllership for collecting measurement data, Art. 26 GDPR);
  • Sendinblue SAS (Brevo) (France) — managing check-up contacts and sending emails;
  • Stripe Payments Europe Ltd — online payments, when you buy a service;
  • any technical infrastructure providers (e.g. caching/anti-abuse services) and the email provider for the auradesign.art domain.

Data is not sold or passed to third parties for their own purposes, nor published.

5. Transfers outside the European Union

Some providers are based in the United States. Any transfers comply with Chapter V GDPR, based on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and/or applicable adequacy frameworks.

6. Retention periods

  • Demo chat messages: kept for the technical time needed to provide the service and in any case no longer than needed for its security.
  • Statistics and marketing data: according to the providers' settings (Google Analytics: 14 months; Clarity: up to 13 months; Meta: according to its terms); your cookie choice for 6 months.
  • Contact requests: for as long as needed to handle them and, if a working relationship follows, for its duration and the legal retention periods.
  • B2B contact data: until you object or the legitimate interest no longer applies.

7. Your rights

You can exercise the rights under Articles 15-22 GDPR at any time: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection to processing, including objection to direct marketing. Write to hello@auradesign.art. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) or the authority of your country of residence.

8. Changes

This policy may be updated; the current version is always published on this page with its date.
